Wellness Tokyo is the largest health and wellness exhibition in Japan, covering seven professional fields: the exercise and sleep conditioning care, the protein and health oil product areas that are highly regarded as functional foods, the anti allergy product, the organic and natural food, the fermented food, and the women’s technology product.
At the end of November, GPNi ®️ CEO and Co-Founder, Drew Campbell, and GPNi®️ Japanese Partner, NIHTEK®️ Chief Scientific Officer(CSO) Dr. Seiji Aoyagi, participated in the Wellness Tokyo 2023 Health Exhibition. Meanwhile, Dr. Seiji Aoyagi also presided over the protein conference held during the exhibition.
The choice of alternative proteins and the global protein crisis are said to be a reality by 2030, so choosing high-quality and sustainable proteins is crucial for human health and the sustainability of our planet. Dr. Seiji, who is considered the top expert in sports nutrition and protein research in Japan, explores sustainable and innovative alternative proteins on this topic. Innovating and creating a new protein category has never been easy, NIHTEK®️ has achieved this. It has made the impossible possible through innovative industry disruptive natural protein technology.
At the same time, Dr. Seiji further introduced the GPNi Performance Nutrition Institute and ISSN-SNS certified Japanese language courses to attendees. In Japan, most courses on nutrition are focused on clinical nutrition, and obtaining relevant qualifications requires 5 years or even more. Nowadays, the ISSN certification provided by GPNi undoubtedly provides Japanese students with the opportunity to be exposed to leading sports nutrition science, and greatly reduces educational costs.
The protein conference held at Wellness Tokyo 2023 was packed with over 100 brand owners, manufacturers, and retailers from the Japanese protein industry, all packed to capacity. Dr. Seiji’s speech not only made everyone aware of the opportunities for sustainable innovation in protein in the future, but also made awareness of the evidence-based nutrition spreader – GPNi. By accumulating leading and evidence-based knowledge of sports nutrition can one seize more potential opportunities in sports nutrition industry.
Let’s look forward to the bright future of our journey, changing the protein industry, and addressing global nutrition challenges!
